6 Best Podcasts for Creative Minds

Being a creative myself, there are LONG (and I mean LONG) periods of time when you are working alone and isolated from an “office” environment. I have found a new addiction in podcasts. I pop these on when I’m making jewellery at my bench, it’s a great way to learn some new skills, get motivated and get inspired as you work. Here are my favourite 6. 1. Lady Start Up

In this podcast, Rachel Corbett chats with some of the most inspiring and successful female entrepreneurs to discover how they built their businesses from the ground up. The podcast goes into the do’s and don’t with the guests sharing their personal experiences and lessons in business (the good, the bad and the terrible!). This is a great podcast to get inspired and learn a few tricks from some experienced business wonder women! Listen on iTunes

 

2. Crappy to Happy

This is a great motivational podcast – working long hours at home on your creative business can get quite isolating, but also it can be hard to keep a good diet, keep up exercise, get moving and keep positive. Tiff and Cass help listeners to find the roof of the reasons why they may not be performing at their best and discover practical, meaningful ways to make impactful changes to feel happier, more energetic, fitter and confident. (yassss!!)

One of my favourite episodes is “Escape The Cult of Busy” which dives into why we seem to have this competition around “who is busier” and why “being busy” is a bad thing. Listen on Podcast One

The podcast is a great online learning hub, it’s very educational with lots of info, tips and techniques into the world of SEO.
